If you start the hike from Passo Giau, which takes about 1 hour, you first walk through a dense forest until you reach this plateau where the beautiful "Lago Federa" is located. Its special feature is its calm water surface and the reflection of this specially shaped mountain. Once you have photographed the sunrise, you can stop at the Rifugio Croda di Lago for a hearty breakfast.
